Board certified, Dr. Currimbhoy provides comprehensive oral surgery care, focusing on extractions, implants, and bone grafting procedures. “I believe in providing my patients with comprehensive care that includes compassion, clear communication and a personalized approach”.
Dr. Currimbhoy grew up in Southern California, graduating from the University of Southern California in 2000 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Health Administration.
She attended UCLA, School of dentistry to complete a research based Master of Science program in Oral Biology where she characterized two oral cancer tumor cell lines. Completing her thesis, Dr. Currimbhoy returned to USC for dental school finishing up in 2006. Dr. Currimbhoy began an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Currimbhoy began her residency at the Highland Hospital Oral Maxillofacial Surgery program in 2007. As part of her training, Dr. Currimbhoy worked through the affiliated institutions including Children’s hospital in Oakland, Dept of Maxillofacial Surgery, and served as faculty in the Oral Surgery department at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
She joined Sacramento Oral Surgery in July 2011. Dr. Currimbhoy was also a part of the Craniofacial Panel at UC Davis Medical Center where children with facial abnormalities including cleft lip and palate are evaluated and treated. Additionally, Dr. Currimbhoy is involved with organized dentistry on a state level. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Currimbhoy has recently married and relocated to Carlsbad.
